The certification label on certain 2025 Nissan Kicks vehicles may show incorrect weight and wheel size information, which can lead to overloading and improper tire inflation. Both issues increase the risk of a crash.

What is recalled

2025 Nissan Kicks vehicles with incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) printed on the certification label. Additionally, certain 2025 Nissan Kicks SR trim level vehicles equipped with an optional 19-inch wheel package may have an incorrect wheel size listed on the certification label.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a 2025 Nissan Kicks. Check your certification label (usually on the driver's door jamb) for your vehicle's GVWR, GAWR, and wheel size. If you have the SR trim with a 19-inch wheel package, pay special attention to the wheel size listed.

What to do right now

Contact Nissan at 800-647-7261 to schedule a free label installation at your dealer, or wait for the replacement label to arrive by mail. Dealers will install new, corrected labels at no charge. Reference Nissan recall numbers PD136 or PMA47.
