2025 NISSAN KICKS: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:BODY CONTROL MODULE/BCM

The 2025 Nissan Kicks may not warn you to shift into Park when you shut off the engine, which could allow the vehicle to roll unexpectedly and cause a crash. Nissan will fix this for free by reprogramming the engine control module.

What is recalled

2025 Nissan Kicks vehicles with a body control module (BCM) that does not activate the "Shift-to-Park" warning when the vehicle is shut off while in a gear other than Park.

The hazard
