Arizer Solo III portable vaporizers in the Intergalactic (Black) color are being recalled because the internal lithium-ion battery can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards that could cause serious injury or death. Only devices with certain serial number prefixes are affected.

What is recalled

Arizer Solo III Intergalactic (Black) portable electronic vaporizer, powered by an internal lithium-ion battery, with a rigid anodized aluminum housing, front-facing digital display, stainless steel heating chamber, and removable glass components. Only units with serial numbers beginning with these prefixes are included: M3B1G5, M3F4G6, M35C43, M3PN54, M3SR42, M38G53, M3G576, or M3C121. The serial number is etched on the bottom of the device and printed on the outside of the packaging. Model number: C0001-NB 130-LCUS. UPC: 628078802274. Imported by 7111495 Canada.

Am I affected

You are affected if you own an Arizer Solo III portable vaporizer in the Intergalactic (Black) color AND the serial number etched on the bottom of your device (or printed on its packaging) begins with one of these prefixes: M3B1G5, M3F4G6, M35C43, M3PN54, M3SR42, M38G53, M3G576, or M3C121. You can also check the UPC 628078802274 on the packaging to confirm the product. If your device is a different color, it is not part of this recall.

What to do right now

Stop using the device immediately. Contact 7111495 Canada to register for the recall and get a free replacement Solo III V2 unit. Once your serial number is confirmed as affected, you will receive instructions to dispose of the recalled device. Do not put the device or its lithium-ion battery in the trash, curbside recycling, or standard used-battery recycling boxes. Contact your local municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center ahead of time to ask whether it accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. If it does not, contact your municipality for further guidance.
