What is recalled
Arrogantf white plastic spa/hot tub suction drain covers, sold on Amazon for use as hot tub jet covers and spa drain covers. The product comes in a clear plastic bag with a label reading: X004TW6LTF, Arrogantf, BWG 3-3/4" 100gpm, BSC334-AF. A smaller bag with two screws is included. There is no labeling or product identification on the cover itself.
Am I affected
You are affected if you purchased an Arrogantf white spa or hot tub drain cover on Amazon and the packaging label reads any of the following: X004TW6LTF, BWG 3-3/4" 100gpm, or BSC334-AF. Because there is no marking on the cover itself, check the clear plastic bag it came in for that label.
What to do right now
Stop using your spa or hot tub with this drain cover immediately. Remove the cover, write "RECALL" on it with a marker, photograph it, then dispose of it (cut the perimeter structure if possible to prevent reuse). Email the photo to Arrogantf at [email protected] to receive a refund. Replace the cover with a Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA)-compliant drain cover before using your spa or hot tub again.
