What is recalled
BBRKIN and MouTec Biometric Gun Safes, model number QHXP029B. Gray steel, approximately 14 x 12 x 57 inches, one shelf, holds about five firearms. Serial numbers range from SQC200034980 to SQC202319171 (on a label in the lower right corner of the front). The brand name "MouTec" or "BBRKIN" appears in the upper right corner of the front. Sold exclusively on Amazon.com.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a gray biometric gun safe branded "BBRKIN" or "MouTec" with model number QHXP029B and a serial number between SQC200034980 and SQC202319171. Check the label on the lower right corner of the front of the safe for the serial number.
What to do right now
Stop using the biometric feature immediately and remove the batteries from the safe. Use only the physical key to secure firearms until the fix is in place.
