Bicystar High Chairs Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Fall and Entrapment Hazards; Violates Mandatory Standard for High Chairs

Bicystar is recalling its TB-HC6900 children's high chair because it was sold without a required attached crotch restraint, creating a deadly fall hazard. A child's head can also become trapped between the seat and the side of the chair, posing a deadly entrapment hazard.

What is recalled

Bicystar children's high chair, model TB-HC6900. The chair has a gray metal frame, metal legs, a tray, and a cushioned seat cover. "BICYSTAR" is printed on the front of the tray; the model number appears on a label stitched to the back of the seat cover.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a gray Bicystar high chair with "BICYSTAR" printed on the front of the tray and a label on the back of the seat cover reading "Model No.: TB-HC6900."

What to do right now

Stop using this high chair immediately. To receive a full refund, disassemble the chair, cut the restraints and fabric seat cover, write "Recall" on the back of the seat, and email photos of the destroyed chair to Bicystar Store at [email protected].
