BISSELL is recalling over one million Steam Shot OmniReach and Steam Shot Omni handheld steam cleaners because the attachments can unexpectedly pop off during use and spray hot water or steam, posing a serious burn hazard.

What is recalled
BISSELL Steam Shot OmniReach and Steam Shot Omni handheld steam cleaners with attachments. Affected model numbers: 4155, 4155L, 4155W, 4155G, 4155D, 4155J, 4155Y, 4155P, 4171, 4171L, 4171W, and 4171F. Units were sold in green, gray, white, blue, and dark blue. Depending on the model, included attachments are: accessory nozzle, grout brush, round detail brushes, flat scraping tool, angle concentrator tool, and possibly an extension hose, fabric steamer, and steam squeegee. All attachments and the hose are gray. The model number is printed on the product rating label on the bottom of the unit.

You're affected if you own a BISSELL handheld steam cleaner with one of these model numbers, 4155, 4155L, 4155W, 4155G, 4155D, 4155J, 4155Y, 4155P, 4171, 4171L, 4171W, or 4171F, printed on the rating label on the bottom of the unit. Check the label now; if your number matches any on this list, stop using the attachments immediately.
