2025 BMW X3: AIR BAGS:PASSENGER SIDE FRONTAL:CUSHION

BMW is recalling certain 2025 X3 vehicles because the front passenger air bag fabric may have been damaged during shipping between suppliers. A damaged air bag may not inflate correctly in a crash, raising the risk of injury to the front passenger.

What is recalled
2025 BMW X3 xDrive30i and X3 M50i vehicles. NHTSA recall ID: 24V772000. Note: none of the affected vehicles have been sold to consumers yet.
Am I affected
You are affected if you have purchased or taken delivery of a 2025 BMW X3 xDrive30i or X3 M50i. Because no affected vehicles had been sold at the time of the recall, most owners should not yet have one in their possession. If you are unsure, contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417 and provide your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to confirm.
What to do right now
Take your vehicle to a BMW dealer to have the front passenger air bag replaced free of charge. No owner notification letters will be mailed because the vehicles had not yet been sold. To confirm whether your VIN is affected, call BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
