Southern Telecom Recalls Brookstone-Branded Tabletop Fire Pits Due to Risk of Serious Burn Injury or Death from Flame Jetting and Fire Hazards

Southern Telecom has recalled Brookstone-branded tabletop fire pits because they can cause uncontrolled fires across pooled or spilled alcohol and shoot jets of flame from the fuel container. These hazards can cause serious burns or death.

What is recalled

Brookstone-branded indoor/outdoor Tabletop Fire Pits sold under three model numbers: BSFIREPIT01 (UPC 680079015930), BSFIREPIT02 (UPC 680079015947), and BSFIREPIT03 (UPC 680079015954). The fire pits have a round or hexagonal concrete open reservoir designed to burn liquid alcohol. The model number and UPC are printed on the bottom of the product packaging.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a Brookstone-branded tabletop fire pit with any of these model numbers on the bottom of the packaging: BSFIREPIT01, BSFIREPIT02, or BSFIREPIT03. You can also confirm by checking the UPC codes: 680079015930, 680079015947, or 680079015954.

What to do right now

Stop using the fire pit immediately. To get a full refund, email a photo of the fire pit to [email protected] with the word "Recalled," your name, and the date written on the product in permanent marker. Then dispose of the fire pit. Do not sell or give it away.
