Chrysler is recalling certain 2023 to 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE and 2024 to 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE plug-in hybrid vehicles because debris inside the engine can cause engine failure. Engine failure can cut drive power, raising crash risk, or start an engine compartment fire.

What is recalled

Certain 2023 to 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE and 2024 to 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4XE Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV) vehicles, manufactured by Chrysler (FCA US, LLC). Chrysler's internal recall reference number is 78C. Specific Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) can be looked up at NHTSA.gov (NHTSA recall ID: 25V766000).
