Chrysler is recalling certain 2025 to 2026 Ram pickup and cab chassis trucks because a software error can cause the instrument panel display to go completely blank. Without warning lights or gear selection information visible, drivers face an increased risk of a crash.

What is recalled

Certain 2025 to 2026 Ram trucks across the following lines: Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis. Chrysler's recall reference numbers are B4C and B8C.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a 2025 or 2026 Ram 1500, 2500, or 3500 Pickup, a Ram 3500 or 4500 Cab Chassis, or a Ram 5500 Cab Chassis. To confirm your specific vehicle, enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) at NHTSA.gov, VINs became searchable there beginning December 4, 2025.

What to do right now
