COMMOWNER Pressure Washer Recall (HD14P-Z / HX18)
COMMOWNER Pressure Washers Recalled Due to Serious Risk of Injury or Death from Shock and Electrocution Hazards; Imported by AZ Home Concept
Updated August 13, 2026
COMMOWNER electric pressure washers (models HD14P-Z and HX18) have been recalled because they lack a built-in ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Without that protection, and with a short power cord that may push users toward extension cords, these washers pose a serious risk of electric shock or electrocution.
Is the COMMOWNER Electric Pressure Washers, model numbers HD14P-Z and HX18 recalled? Yes. This product was recalled by CPSC on August 13, 2026. Details below.
What is recalled
COMMOWNER-branded 3 GPM electric pressure washers, model numbers HD14P-Z and HX18, imported by AZ Home Concept. The units are orange, green, or blue with black parts and measure about 11 inches deep by 9 inches wide and 25 inches tall. They came with a 500 ml tank, foam cannon, four quick-connect nozzles, and a 33-foot hose. The model number "HD14P-Z" appears on a label on the back of the unit. At point of sale the washer may also have been listed as model HX18.
Am I affected
You are affected if you own a COMMOWNER electric pressure washer with model number HD14P-Z (printed on a label on the back) or one that was sold as model HX18. The unit is orange, green, or blue with black parts.
What to do right now
Stop using the pressure washer immediately. To get a full refund, contact AZ Home Concept at [email protected]. You will be asked to destroy the washer by cutting its unplugged power cord in half, then send a photo of the destroyed unit to that same email address. After that, dispose of the destroyed product.
Contact: Contact AZ Home Concept via email at [email protected].
The hazard
The recalled pressure washers lack an integral ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) and, because the power cord is short, it may encourage use of an extension cord, posing serious risks of injury or death from shock and electrocution hazards.
