Currey & Company Recalls Nottaway Chandeliers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Electrocution Hazard

Currey & Company is recalling its Nottaway chandeliers because they lack proper electrical grounding, which can cause electrocution. This hazard poses a risk of serious injury or death.

What is recalled
Currey & Company Nottaway chandeliers, sold in gold, bronze, and champagne finishes in two sizes. Two-tier model: about 44 inches in diameter, 44.5 inches high, adjustable drop of 51 to 119 inches, nine 50-watt bulbs. Three-tier model: about 60 inches in diameter, 63.5 inches high, adjustable drop of 70 to 138 inches, 18 40-watt bulbs. Affected model numbers, printed on a label atop the ceiling canopy: 9000-1129, 9000-1130, 9000-1254, 9000-1255, and 9000-1314. Only chandeliers with no visible screw on the outside of the top distributor cap are included in this recall.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a Currey & Company Nottaway chandelier with one of these model numbers on the label atop the ceiling canopy: 9000-1129, 9000-1130, 9000-1254, 9000-1255, or 9000-1314, AND there is no visible screw on the outside of the top distributor cap. If a screw is visible there, your fixture is not part of this recall.
What to do right now
Stop using the chandelier immediately and contact Currey & Company for a free replacement, including free shipping and installation. Currey & Company will also reimburse the full cost of having a licensed electrician remove the old unit and install the new one, and will provide a prepaid label and packaging to return the recalled product.
