Currey & Company Recalls Nottaway Chandeliers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Electrocution Hazard

Currey & Company is recalling its Nottaway chandeliers because they lack proper electrical grounding, creating a risk of serious injury or death from electrocution. Stop using these fixtures immediately.

What is recalled
Currey & Company Nottaway chandeliers in gold, bronze, and champagne finishes, sold in two sizes. The two-tier model measures about 44 inches in diameter and 44.5 inches high, with an adjustable drop of 51 to 119 inches and nine 50-watt bulbs. The three-tier model measures about 60 inches in diameter and 63.5 inches high, with an adjustable drop of 70 to 138 inches and 18 40-watt bulbs. Affected model numbers are 9000-1129, 9000-1130, 9000-1254, 9000-1255, and 9000-1314, printed on a label on top of the fixture's ceiling canopy. Only chandeliers with NO visible screw on the outside of the top distributor cap are included in this recall.
Am I affected
You are affected if you own a Nottaway chandelier with one of these model numbers on the ceiling canopy label: 9000-1129, 9000-1130, 9000-1254, 9000-1255, or 9000-1314, AND there is no visible screw on the outside of the top distributor cap. If a screw is visible on the outside of that cap, your chandelier is NOT part of this recall.
What to do right now
Stop using the chandelier immediately. Contact Currey & Company for a free replacement chandelier, including free shipping and installation. The company will also fully reimburse you for the cost of having a licensed electrician remove the recalled unit and install the new one, and will provide a prepaid label and packaging to return the old fixture.
