DuraTrac Recalls Stainless Steel Gas Connectors Due to Fire Hazard

DuraTrac has recalled certain stainless steel gas connectors due to a manufacturing defect that can cause a gas leak. A gas leak in the home poses a serious fire hazard.

What is recalled
DuraTrac stainless steel gas connectors sold between May 2025 and November 2025. Recalled units have a yellow product label showing the brand name "DuraTrac" and "Made in Thailand," and are engraved with CSA file number "259973" on the flare nuts along with one of these date-of-manufacture codes: 24D, 25A, 25B, or 25C.
Am I affected
You're affected if you have a DuraTrac stainless steel gas connector with: (1) a yellow label reading "DuraTrac" and "Made in Thailand," AND (2) CSA file number "259973" engraved on the flare nuts, AND (3) one of these manufacture codes also engraved on the flare nuts: 24D, 25A, 25B, or 25C. Check the connector's label and the engraving on the flare nuts to confirm.
