Evajoy Above-Ground Pool Recall: Drowning Hazard
Evajoy Above-Ground Pools 48 Inches and Taller Recalled Due to Drowning Hazard; Manufactured by Shenzhen Danya Tech
Updated February 26, 2026
Evajoy is recalling its 48-inch-and-taller above-ground pools because a compression strap on the outside of the pool can act as a foothold, letting young children climb in unsupervised. This creates a serious drowning risk, and removing the ladder alone does not prevent access.
Is the Evajoy 48-inch and taller above-ground pools recalled? Yes. This product was recalled by CPSC on February 26, 2026. Details below.
What is recalled
All Evajoy above-ground pools 48 inches and taller, including three specific models: • EJ-HF032 to 16 ft diameter × 48 in tall • EJ-HF044 to 18 ft diameter × 52 in tall • EJ-HF045 to 24 ft diameter × 52 in tall The model number and Evajoy logo are printed on the outside of the pool liner.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own an Evajoy above-ground pool that is 48 inches or taller. Check the outside of your pool liner for the model number, if it reads EJ-HF032, EJ-HF044, or EJ-HF045, your pool is included in this recall.

The hazard
The compression strap that surrounds the outside of the pool legs may create a foothold, allowing a child access to the pool, posing a drowning risk.
