Tzumi Electronics is recalling FitRx SmartBell Quick-Select Adjustable Dumbbells (5 to 52.5 lbs) because weight plates can detach from the handle mid-use, posing a serious impact injury risk to anyone nearby.

What is recalled
FitRx SmartBell Quick-Select Adjustable Dumbbells, 5 to 52.5 lbs, model 8361, sold in black with red accents. Only units with serial numbers KK23288361 through KK23388361, or KK207608361 through KK21347836, are affected. The model number and serial number are printed on the side of the storage tray. "FitRx" appears on the storage tray and on the dumbbell handles.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a FitRx SmartBell Quick-Select Adjustable Dumbbell with model number 8361 AND a serial number that falls within KK23288361, KK23388361 or KK207608361, KK21347836. Check the side of the plastic storage tray for both numbers.
What to do right now
Stop using the dumbbell immediately.
