The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve in certain 2025 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may fail, causing a sudden loss of engine power while driving. This increases the risk of a crash.

2025 Ford Ranger, Mustang, Maverick, Explorer, Escape, Bronco Sport, and Bronco; 2025 Lincoln Nautilus and Corsair. Affected vehicles have a faulty EGR valve.
