2025 FORD EXPEDITION: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:ELECTRIC:CONTROL MODULE

Ford is recalling certain 2025 Lincoln Navigator, F-150, Expedition, Bronco, and Ranger vehicles because the Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module can malfunction and cause a sudden loss of power brake assist. Losing power brake assist extends your stopping distance and raises the risk of a crash, including when advanced driver assistance features are in use.

What is recalled

Certain 2025 model-year Ford F-150, Expedition, Bronco, and Ranger vehicles, and 2025 Lincoln Navigator vehicles. All are affected through the Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module. Ford's recall reference number is 25SD4. To check whether your specific vehicle is included, search your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) at NHTSA.gov (VINs became searchable on December 3, 2025).
