Ford is recalling certain Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, Escape, Lincoln Corsair, F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator vehicles because the air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. Without this label, occupants may not know the proper restraint guidelines, which increases the risk of injury in a crash.

What is recalled

Certain Ford and Lincoln vehicles from the following model years and lines: 2020 to 2025 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator; 2020 to 2024 Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair; 2018 to 2024 Ford F-150, Ford Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator. The air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. Ford's recall number is 24C39 (NHTSA ID: 24V852000).

You're affected if you own one of these vehicles: a 2020 to 2025 Ford Explorer or Lincoln Aviator; a 2020 to 2024 Ford Escape or Lincoln Corsair; or a 2018 to 2024 Ford F-150, Ford Expedition, or Lincoln Navigator. Ford will mail you the replacement warning label free of charge, no dealer visit required. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2024.
