2025 FORD EXPLORER: BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE

Ford is recalling certain 2022 to 2025 Lincoln Navigator, 2024 to 2025 Lincoln Nautilus, 2025 Lincoln Aviator, and 2025 Explorer vehicles because a software fault can disable the rearview camera and driver assistance features like lane-keeping assist and blind-spot monitoring, raising the risk of a crash.

2025 Ford Explorer; 2025 Lincoln Aviator; 2024 to 2025 Lincoln Nautilus; 2022 to 2025 Lincoln Navigator. Affected vehicles have an Image Processing Module A that may malfunction.

Contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332 or wait for your owner notification letter. Ford will update the Image Processing Module A software free of charge, either at a dealer or through an over-the-air update. Notifications are rolling out by phase through June 2026.
