Ford is recalling 2020-2026 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator vehicles because the second-row outer seat belt anchor bolts may be loose. A loose seat belt buckle can fail to properly restrain occupants during a crash, increasing injury risk.

Contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 to schedule a free inspection and repair of the second-row outer seat belt lower anchor bolts. Dealers will replace or repair the bolts as necessary at no charge. An owner notification letter was mailed on March 30, 2026.
