A faulty transmission valve body can cause reverse gear to fail or the vehicle to move unexpectedly in reverse or neutral, increasing crash risk. Ford will replace the valve body for free.

What is recalled
2024-2025 Ford F-150, 2025 Ford Bronco, 2024 Ford Ranger, 2025 Ford Mustang, 2025 Ford Explorer, and 2025 Ford Aviator vehicles with a transmission valve body that may have been machined incorrectly.

Contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 to schedule a free replacement of your transmission valve body. Reference recall number 25S19. Do not drive the vehicle in reverse or neutral until the repair is complete if you experience unexpected movement.
