Ford is recalling certain 2025 F-Super Duty F-650 and F-750 trucks because the front axle tie rod ball studs may have been incorrectly heat-treated and could break. A broken tie rod can cause a sudden loss of steering control, raising the risk of a crash.

Certain 2025 Ford F-Super Duty F-650 and F-750 vehicles. Ford's recall number is 24S42 (NHTSA ID: 24V494000).
