Electrolux Group Recalls Frigidaire Gas Ranges Due to Burn Hazard

Electrolux Group has recalled certain Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional gas ranges because the oven's bake burner can ignite with a dangerous delay, posing a burn hazard. Stop using the oven immediately, you can still use the cooktop burners while you wait for the free repair.

What is recalled
Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional Gas Ranges in the following models: FCFG3083AS, FCRG3083AD, FCRG3083AS, GCFG3060BD, GCFG3060BF, GCFG3070BF, GCRG3060BD, GCRG3060BF, PCFG3080AF, FCFG3062AB, FCFG3062AS, FCFG3062AW, FCRG3051BB, FCRG3051BS, FCRG3051BW, FCRG3052BB, FCRG3052BS, FCRG3052BW, FCRG3062AB, FCRG3062AS, FCRG3062AW, FCRG306LAF, and GCFG3059BF, but only units with serial numbers in the range VF52200000 through VF54399999. The model and serial numbers are printed on a nameplate inside the drawer beneath the oven.

You're affected if your range's model number matches one of the 23 models listed above AND its serial number falls between VF52200000 and VF54399999. Open the drawer beneath the oven and check the nameplate for both numbers.

Stop using the oven portion of your range right away. Contact Electrolux Group to schedule a free professional in-home replacement of the bake burner.
