General Motors is recalling certain 2024 to 2026 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV trucks because a software error in the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) may cause the passenger-side airbag to fire at full force when only a lower-force deployment was intended. An airbag that deploys incorrectly raises the risk of serious injury during a crash.
