Goal Zero Recalls YETI 3000X Power Stations Due to Serious Risk of Injury from Fire and Burn Hazards

Goal Zero is recalling its YETI 3000X portable power stations because the circuit board can overheat, creating a serious risk of fire and burns. Stop using the power station right away until you have installed the free firmware fix.

What is recalled

Goal Zero YETI 3000X Portable Power Stations. These are silver and black units that measure about 24.4 inches high, 18.5 inches wide, and 22.3 inches deep, and weigh about 92 pounds. They have yellow handles, a front digital display with electrical ports, and sit on a rolling cart with two built-in wheels and a telescoping handle. The Goal Zero logo appears on the front bar of the cart, and "YETI 3000X" is printed on a nameplate on the underside of the lid.
