Gudook adult bicycle helmets (model KY-055, batch 202503) were recalled because they fail to meet the mandatory safety standard for bicycle helmets. In a crash, the helmet may not protect your head, creating a serious risk of injury or death.

What is recalled
Gudook-branded adult bicycle helmet, model KY-055, sold in blue with white, size medium (M), fitting a head circumference of about 21.3 to 22.4 inches. The helmet has red padding, black straps, a black and red buckle, and a black fit-adjusting knob at the back. Only helmets with batch number 202503 and a manufacture date of March 2025 (03/2025) are included. "Gudook" is printed on the side of the helmet; the model number, batch number, and manufacture date are on a label inside the helmet. Sold on Amazon by Gudook Outdoor Sports.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a Gudook helmet with ALL of the following on the inside label: model KY-055, batch number 202503, and manufacture date 03/2025. The helmet is blue with white, size medium (M), and has red padding with a black and red buckle.
What to do right now
Stop using this helmet immediately. Contact Gudook Outdoor Sports by email at [email protected] to request a full refund. You will be asked to destroy the helmet by cutting the straps, then email a photo of the destroyed helmet showing the batch number to that same address. After sending the photo, dispose of the helmet.
