Certain Toyota vehicles equipped with Gulf States Toyota accessories have incorrect weight capacity labels on their load carrying capacity modification stickers. An inaccurate maximum weight value can cause the vehicle to be overloaded, raising the risk of a crash.

2023 GR Supra, 2024 4Runner, Corolla, Grand Highlander, Grand Highlander Hybrid, Land Cruiser Hybrid, Tacoma, Tacoma Hybrid, 2023-2024 BZ4X, Corolla Cross Hybrid, GR Corolla, GR86, Highlander, Highlander Hybrid, Prius, Prius Prime, Sequoia Hybrid, Tundra, Tundra Hybrid, Venza Hybrid, 2023-2025 Crown, and 2025 Camry Hybrid vehicles equipped with Gulf States Toyota accessories. The load carrying capacity modification label displays inaccurate added weight values.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a Toyota vehicle from the list above (GR Supra, 4Runner, Corolla, Grand Highlander, Highlander, Prius, Prius Prime, Sequoia Hybrid, Tundra, Venza Hybrid, Crown, or Camry Hybrid) purchased from or equipped with Gulf States Toyota accessories, and you received an owner notification letter from Gulf States Toyota in September 2024.
What to do right now
Watch for a new label in the mail from Gulf States Toyota at no charge. If you have not received your replacement label, call Gulf States Toyota customer service at 1-800-444-1074 and reference recall number 24R2. Do not exceed the weight capacity on your current label until you receive and install the corrected label.
