Happiness Light LED lights are being recalled because young children can easily access the built-in CR2032 coin batteries. If swallowed, these batteries can cause internal chemical burns and death.

What is recalled
Happiness Light brand round LED lights sold in packs of 24. Each light emits white light, measures about 1.18 inches in diameter, and contains two CR2032 lithium coin batteries. Sold on Amazon by Happiness Light.

You're affected if you have Happiness Light round LED lights, sold in a 24-pack, approximately 1.18 inches in diameter, each containing two CR2032 lithium coin batteries, purchased on Amazon.
What to do right now
Stop using these lights immediately and move them somewhere children cannot reach. Then disassemble the lights and fully submerge all components in water. Email a photo of the submerged product to [email protected] to receive a full refund. Dispose of the coin batteries following your local hazardous-waste procedures, do not put them in regular trash.

The hazard
The recalled LED lights violate the mandatory standard for consumer products containing button cell or coin batteries because they contain lithium coin batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the LED lights do not have the warnings as required by Reese's Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns and death.
