HomeProGym Resistance Bands Recall 2026
Resistance Bands Recalled Due to Serious Injury from Impact Hazard; Imported by HomeProGym
Updated May 21, 2026
HomeProGym has recalled specific resistance bands that can snap apart from the handle mid-use, sending the band flying with enough force to cause serious injury. Only the purple 60-pound and gray 70-pound bands are affected, other bands in the same sets are safe to keep using.
Is the HomeProGym Resistance Bands recalled? Yes. This product was recalled by CPSC on May 21, 2026. Details below.
What is recalled
HomeProGym-branded latex stackable resistance bands, specifically the purple 60-pound and gray 70-pound bands only. These are latex bands with a silver metal D-ring at each end attached to a black strap; the weight resistance, "HOME PRO GYM," and "ULTRA" or "ULTRA PLUS" are printed on the strap. The affected bands were sold as part of these sets and bundles: Add-on Stackable Resistance Bands - 130 lbs (60 kg), Stackable Resistance Bands Set Ultra 7 Bands, Stackable Resistance Bands Set Mega 9 Bands, PowerTube Stackable 450 lbs Band Set + Bar & Ultra Door Anchor, Ultimate Bundle, and Mega Bundle.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a HomeProGym resistance band that is either (1) purple and labeled 60 lbs, or (2) gray and labeled 70 lbs. Check the printed text on the black strap, it should read "HOME PRO GYM" and "ULTRA" or "ULTRA PLUS." If you have one of these bands in any of the listed sets or bundles, you are affected. Other colored/weight bands from the same sets are not part of this recall.
What to do right now
Stop using the purple 60-pound and gray 70-pound bands immediately. Cut each affected band in half to destroy it, then photograph the cut bands and email the photo to [email protected]. Next, complete the recall registration form at https://homeprogym.com/pages/recall to claim your choice of a full refund or a $50 HomeProGym.com store credit. After submitting, dispose of the destroyed bands. You can continue using any other bands from your set.
Contact: HomeProGym by email at [email protected] or online at https://homeprogym.com/pages/recall or https://homeprogym.com/ and click on 'Safety Recalls" at the bottom of the page for more information.
The hazard
The recalled resistance bands can forcefully separate from the handle during use, posing a risk of serious injury from impact hazard.
