HomeProGym is recalling specific resistance bands that can snap free from the handle with force during exercise, posing a serious impact injury risk. Only the purple 60-pound and gray 70-pound bands from certain sets and bundles are affected.

What is recalled
HomeProGym-branded latex stackable resistance bands with silver metal D rings at each end, attached to a black strap. Only two specific bands are recalled: the purple 60-pound resistance band and the gray 70-pound resistance band. These were sold as part of the following sets and bundles: Add-on Stackable Resistance Bands (130 lbs / 60 kg), Stackable Resistance Bands Set Ultra 7 Bands, Stackable Resistance Bands Set Mega 9 Bands, PowerTube Stackable 450 lbs Band Set + Bar and Ultra Door Anchor, Ultimate Bundle, and Mega Bundle. The weight resistance, "HOME PRO GYM," and "ULTRA" or "ULTRA PLUS" are printed on the band's strap.

You're affected if you own a HomeProGym resistance band that is purple and labeled 60 lbs, or gray and labeled 70 lbs, and it was sold as part of any of these sets: Add-on Stackable Resistance Bands (130 lbs / 60 kg), Stackable Resistance Bands Set Ultra 7 Bands, Stackable Resistance Bands Set Mega 9 Bands, PowerTube Stackable 450 lbs Band Set + Bar and Ultra Door Anchor, Ultimate Bundle, or Mega Bundle. Check the strap for the printed weight and "HOME PRO GYM" and "ULTRA" or "ULTRA PLUS" text to confirm. Other bands in these sets are not recalled.
What to do right now
Stop using the purple 60-pound and gray 70-pound bands immediately. Cut them in half to destroy them, then photograph the destroyed bands and email the photo to [email protected]. Also complete the registration form at homeprogym.com/pages/recall. You can then dispose of the destroyed bands and claim either a full refund or a $50 HomeProGym.com store credit.
