Honda is recalling certain 2023 to 2026 CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and 2025 to 2026 CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles because the tire repair kit's sealant bottle cap can detach under pressure and become a projectile, risking injury.

2023 to 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2023 to 2026 Honda Accord Hybrid, and 2025 to 2026 Honda CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles with the tire repair kit sealant bottle.

What to do right now

Stop using the tire repair kit. Contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870 or wait for an interim notification letter expected July 27, 2026. Honda will replace the tire repair kit nozzle or sealant bottle free of charge once the remedy is available.
