Honda is recalling 2023-2026 CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and 2025-2026 CR-V Fuel Cell vehicles because pressure can build up in the tire repair kit's sealant bottle, causing the cap to detach and become a projectile that could strike the driver or nearby passengers.

2023-2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2023-2026 Honda Accord Hybrid, and 2025-2026 Honda CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles equipped with tire repair kits containing pressurized sealant bottles.

What to do right now
Wait for a safety notice letter in the mail starting July 27, 2026. Once you receive it and the final remedy is available, contact your Honda dealer to have the tire repair kit nozzle or sealant bottle replaced for free. In the meantime, avoid using the tire repair kit. If you have questions, call Honda at 1-866-784-1870.
