HTRC and Haisito T400 Battery Chargers Recalled Due to Risk of Serious Injury and Death from Fire Hazard; Manufactured by Huizhou Haitan Technology

The HTRC and Haisito T400 battery chargers are being recalled because they can catch fire, or cause a connected battery to catch fire, creating a serious risk of injury or death. Stop using one immediately if you have it.

What is recalled

HTRC and Haisito brand battery chargers, model T400. The chargers are black with a touch screen and have "T400" printed on the front. Some units show "HTRC" on the front; others have no visible brand name on the unit itself (the "Haisito" brand name may only appear on your purchase receipt). All black, touch-screen T400 chargers from either brand are included.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a black, touch-screen battery charger with "T400" printed on the front, regardless of whether it shows the brand name "HTRC," shows no brand name on the unit, or was purchased as a "Haisito" product (check your receipt). Any T400 model from these brands is included in the recall.

What to do right now

Stop using the charger immediately. Contact Huizhou Haitan Technology to request a free prepaid return package; the company will send you a pre-labeled, prepaid shipping package so you can return the charger for a full refund.
