Certain 2025 Hyundai Tucson vehicles may be missing the air bag warning label inside the glove box. Without this label, drivers may not know about the danger an active front air bag poses to infants and young children seated in the front.

What is recalled
2025 Hyundai Tucson vehicles that are missing the glove box air bag warning label required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Hyundai's recall number is 268 (NHTSA ID: 24V691000).

You're affected if you own a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. Check whether the air bag warning label is present on or near your glove box. If the label is missing, your vehicle is included in this recall. You can also confirm by entering your VIN at the NHTSA recall lookup at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
What to do right now
Hyundai will mail you the replacement warning label at no charge. If you have not received a letter (owner notifications were mailed October 4, 2024), contact Hyundai Customer Service at 1-855-371-9460 and reference recall number 268. In the meantime, do not place a rear-facing infant seat or young child in the front seat, as a deploying air bag poses serious injury risk.
