2025 HYUNDAI IONIQ 5: SUSPENSION:CRITICAL FASTENERS

Hyundai is recalling certain 2025 Ioniq 5 and 2026 Ioniq 9 vehicles because rear suspension fasteners may loosen and detach, causing a loss of vehicle control and crash risk. Dealers will replace the fasteners and realign the rear suspension at no cost.

2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 vehicles with loose or detaching rear suspension fasteners. Check your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) against the searchable list at NHTSA.gov.

You're affected if you own a 2025 Ioniq 5 or 2026 Ioniq 9. Search your VIN on NHTSA.gov to confirm your vehicle is included. Owner notification letters will be mailed July 17, 2026.
