Chrysler is recalling certain 2021 to 2025 Jeep Wrangler, Wrangler 4xe, and Gladiator vehicles because the electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring can overheat and start a fire, even when the vehicle is parked and turned off. A vehicle fire creates a serious risk of injury.

What is recalled

Certain 2021 to 2025 Jeep Wrangler, Wrangler 4xe, and Jeep Gladiator vehicles. The specific VINs covered by this recall will be searchable at NHTSA.gov starting June 11, 2026. FCA US LLC's internal recall reference is 21D.

You're affected if you own a 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 Jeep Wrangler, Wrangler 4xe, or Jeep Gladiator. Check your 17-character VIN against the NHTSA recall lookup at NHTSA.gov (VINs become searchable June 11, 2026). Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 9, 2026.

What to do right now
