Kawasaki Motors USA Recalls Model Year 2026 Teryx4 H2 and Teryx5 H2 Recreational Off-Road Vehicles Due to Impact and Injury Hazards

The drive converter sheave in Model Year 2026 Kawasaki Teryx4 H2 and Teryx5 H2 off-road vehicles can break and scatter metal fragments inside the engine compartment, creating impact and injury hazards. Kawasaki is recalling these vehicles and offering free repair.

What is recalled
Model Year 2026 Kawasaki Teryx4 H2 and Teryx5 H2 recreational off-road vehicles (model numbers KRT1000D, KRT1000F, and KRT1000G). The recalled vehicles are lime green and have "Teryx4 H2" or "Teryx5 H2" printed on the driver and front passenger doors, plus the Kawasaki logo above the rear wheels on both sides. Your VIN is printed on the right rear of the main frame underneath the rear fender and above the rear wheel.
Am I affected
You're affected if you own a Model Year 2026 Kawasaki Teryx4 H2 or Teryx5 H2 in lime green with model number KRT1000D, KRT1000F, or KRT1000G (found in your owner's manual).

Stop using the recalled vehicle immediately. Contact a Kawasaki dealer to schedule a free repair, or call Kawasaki Motors USA toll-free at 855-878-4217 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT Monday through Friday. A technician will replace the moveable clutch sheave assembly, install a clutch cover guard, and reprogram the Engine Control Unit.
