2026 LEXUS LX: POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

Toyota is recalling certain 2025 and 2026 Lexus LX600 vehicles because a transmission solenoid failure can damage the transmission, leading to a sudden loss of drive power or a transmission fluid leak. Either outcome raises the risk of a crash or a fire.

You're affected if you own a 2025 or 2026 Lexus LX600. Check your vehicle's model year on the registration or on the driver-side door jamb sticker and confirm the make and model.

What to do right now

Take your vehicle to a Lexus dealer for a free transmission ECU software update. Owner notification letters were mailed April 13, 2026. If you have not received a letter and want to confirm your vehicle is included, contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331 and reference recall number 26LA01.
