LiKee Pull String teething toys (model LK-FDWJ) have been recalled because the silicone strings are smaller and longer than safety standards allow. The strings can reach the back of a child's throat and become lodged, creating a serious risk of respiratory distress and deadly choking.

What is recalled
LiKee Pull String teething toy, model number LK-FDWJ. The toy is an off-white disc with a blue ball in the center and six multi-colored silicone pull strings ("tentacles") running through the ball, plus three soft push buttons on the disc. The brand name and "Baby Sensory Toy" appear on the front of the packaging; "Model No. LK-FDWJ" is printed on the back. Sold on Amazon by ChilanTech.

What to do right now
Stop using this toy immediately and keep it away from children. To get a free replacement toy of at least equal value (with free shipping), contact ChilanTech at [email protected]. You will be asked to destroy the toy first: cut all the silicone strings and write "Recalled" in permanent marker on the toy's main body, then email a photo of the destroyed product to [email protected]. After sending the photo, throw the destroyed toy away.
