Lil Pick Up Recalls Youth All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Crash and Burn Hazards; Violates Mandatory Standard for ATVs

Lil Pick Up is recalling Sierra 125U Youth ATVs (also sold as "Rider 9") because they fail federal safety standards, the suspension doesn't meet requirements, the parking brake won't hold, the reverse indicator light doesn't illuminate, and surfaces near the footwell can get dangerously hot. These defects create serious crash and burn hazards that could cause severe injury or death.

What is recalled
Sierra 125U Youth All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) sold by Lil Pick Up Inc., including units sold under the "Rider 9" brand name. Available colors: red, blue, black, pink, gray, spider red, and spider blue. The model name "Sierra 125U" appears on the VIN plate on the front frame column. A plate on the left front side of the frame column reads: "This ATV is subject to LIL PICK UP INC's Action Plan approved by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission."

You're affected if you own a Sierra 125U Youth ATV (or one sold as "Rider 9"). Check the VIN plate on the front frame column, if it reads "Sierra 125U," your ATV is included in this recall. Also look for a plate on the left front side of the frame column referencing Lil Pick Up Inc.'s CPSC Action Plan.
