GigaCloud Technology USA is recalling full-size and twin-size Merax Murphy beds because the frame can fall on you during assembly or disassembly, creating a deadly impact, crush, and laceration risk. Stop using this bed immediately.

What is recalled

Merax wall-mounted Murphy beds in full-size and twin-size, sold in white, with these model numbers and SKU codes: - Model GX000392AAK (SKUs: WF530245, WF530246, WF530247, WF530248), 78.2" L x 108.4" W x 99" H - Model GX000391AAK (SKUs: WF530240, WF530241, WF530242, WF530243), 78.2" L x 93.2" W x 99" H - Model GX000383AAK (SKUs: WF324470, WF324471, WF324472), 76" L x 95.2" W x 83.8" H The same beds may have been sold by other marketplace sellers under different brand names including Euroco, Harper and Bright Designs, Modern Luxe, Polibi, other brand names, or no brand name at all. The SKU code sticker is located on the inside frame of the bed, that sticker is the definitive identifier regardless of brand name shown.

Am I affected

You're affected if you own a wall-mounted Murphy bed with one of these SKU codes on the sticker inside the frame: WF530245, WF530246, WF530247, WF530248, WF530240, WF530241, WF530242, WF530243, WF324470, WF324471, or WF324472. The bed may be labeled Merax, Euroco, Harper and Bright Designs, Modern Luxe, Polibi, or sold without a brand name. Check the sticker on the inside frame, the SKU code is your definitive check, not the brand name.

What to do right now

Stop using the bed immediately. Then contact GigaCloud Technology for a free remedy: - If your bed is not yet assembled, you will receive a repair kit with unloaded piston springs, updated assembly instructions, and inspection instructions. - If your bed is already assembled, you will receive inspection instructions.
