2025 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC 300, 2025 MERCEDES-BENZ GLC 300 4MATIC: STRUCTURE:BODY:ROOF AND PILLARS

Certain 2023-2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC models with panoramic sunroofs have a structural defect in the C-pillar that may not protect rear passengers' heads adequately in a crash. This increases the risk of serious head injury.

What is recalled

2023-2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 and GLC 300 4MATIC, 2024-2025 AMG GLC 43 4MATIC, 2025 GLC 350E 4MATIC, and AMG GLC 63 S E vehicles equipped with a panoramic sunroof.

You're affected if you own a 2023-2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, GLC 300 4MATIC, 2024-2025 AMG GLC 43 4MATIC, 2025 GLC 350E 4MATIC, or AMG GLC 63 S E and your vehicle has a panoramic sunroof. Check your model year and trim, and confirm the presence of the panoramic sunroof feature.

What to do right now

Contact Mercedes-Benz customer service at 1-800-367-6372 to schedule a free dealer appointment. Dealers will modify the roof lining and C-pillar trim at no charge. An owner notification letter was mailed July 9, 2025.
