Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain 2024 to 2025 GLE and GLS models because the rearview mirror and multi-purpose camera may not be properly secured to the windshield and can fall off while driving. A detached mirror reduces your view behind the vehicle, and a detached camera disables safety systems like Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active Brake Assist, raising the risk of a crash.
