A software glitch in the infotainment system may prevent the rearview camera from displaying when you shift into reverse, blocking your view behind the vehicle and raising the risk of a crash.

What is recalled

2025 Nissan Murano, 2025 and 2026 Nissan Armada, and Infiniti QX80 vehicles with an In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system software error.

You're affected if you own a 2025 Murano, 2025-2026 Armada, or Infiniti QX80. Check your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on NHTSA.gov starting December 12, 2025, to confirm your vehicle is included.

What to do right now

Contact Nissan at 800-647-7261 or Infiniti at 1-800-662-6200 to schedule a free software update. The IVI system will be fixed either by a dealer or through an over-the-air update.
