2026 NISSAN ARMADA, 2025 NISSAN MURANO, 2025 NISSAN ARMADA: BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE

A software error in the in-vehicle infotainment system may prevent the rearview camera image from displaying when you shift into reverse, reducing your visibility behind the vehicle. This increases the risk of backing up into a person or object.

What is recalled

2025 Nissan Murano, 2025 Nissan Armada, 2026 Nissan Armada, and Infiniti QX80 vehicles with a software error in the in-vehicle infotainment system. The affected VINs will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning December 12, 2025.

Contact Nissan customer service at 800-647-7261 (or Infiniti customer service at 1-800-662-6200 for Infiniti QX80) to schedule a free software update. The dealer will update your in-vehicle infotainment system, or the update may be delivered automatically over the air. An owner notification letter was mailed on February 2, 2026.
