OKK Trading Recalls Easter LED Headbands Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death from Battery Ingestion; Violate Mandatory Standard for Toys

OKK Trading is recalling three models of Easter LED Headbands because children can easily access the lithium coin batteries inside. If a child swallows a button cell or coin battery, it can cause internal chemical burns and death.

What is recalled

Three Easter LED Headband models sold by OKK Trading, Inc., each packaged in a clear plastic bag with the item number and "OKK Trading, Inc." printed on the label: - Model 46310: available in white, light pink, dark pink, turquoise, purple, and red; features felt multicolor polka dots on the ears. Bag labeled "Item#46310." - Model 46309: available in white, light pink, turquoise, and purple; features fluffy ears and light fur along the band. Bag labeled "Item#46309." - Model 44694: available in white with dark pink, light blue, red, or light pink satin ear lining and a fluffy white backing and band. Bag labeled "Item#44694."

You're affected if you own any Easter LED Headband packaged in a clear plastic bag labeled "OKK Trading, Inc." with one of these item numbers on the label: Item#46310, Item#46309, or Item#44694.

What to do right now

Stop using these headbands immediately, especially around children. To get a refund, email a photo of the product being thrown away in the trash to [email protected]. Dispose of the coin batteries following your local hazardous waste procedures. The hazard

The recalled headbands violate the mandatory safety standard for toys with button cell and coin batteries because the lithium coin batteries can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
