Qumeney Bicycle Light Sets (models BL-01 and BL-02) have been recalled because young children can easily access the button cell batteries inside, which can be swallowed and cause internal chemical burns or death.

What is recalled
Qumeney Bicycle Light Sets, models BL-01 and BL-02. The lights are encased in silicone and come in six colors (black, white, red, green, yellow, and blue). Sold in packs of 6 (one of each color) or 24 (four of each color); each light contains two button cell batteries. Packages are labeled "QUMENEY" at the top. Sold on Amazon by Smfanlus.

Stop using these lights immediately. Remove the button cell batteries and dispose of them following your local hazardous-waste procedures, do not put them in regular trash. The hazard
The recalled bicycle lights violate the mandatory standard for consumer products with button cell and coin batteries because they contain button cell batteries that can be accessed easily by children, posing an ingestion hazard. Additionally, the bicycle lights do not have the warnings required under Reese's Law. When button cell or coin batteries are swallowed, the ingested batteries can cause serious injuries, internal chemical burns, and death.
