2025 Ram 2500/3500/4500/5500 Air Bag Recall

2025 RAM 5500, 2025 RAM 3500: AIR BAGS: AIR BAG/RESTRAINT CONTROL MODULE

Updated December 18, 2025

Chrysler is recalling certain 2025 Ram 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 trucks because a software error in the occupant restraint controller module can prevent the driver's air bag and seat belt pretensioner from deploying in a crash, and can also disable the electronic stability control system. Both failures significantly raise the risk of serious injury or death.

The hazard

Driving with a disabled electronic stability control system increases the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driver's side air bag or seat belt pretensioner that does not deploy increases the risk of injury in a crash.
