FCA US is recalling certain 2025 to 2026 Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 pickup and cab chassis vehicles because a software error can cause the instrument panel display to go blank. Without that display, you lose critical safety information like gear selection and warning lights, raising the risk of a crash.

What is recalled
Certain 2025 to 2026 Ram vehicles across six model lines: Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, Ram 4500 Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis. The specific vehicles are identified by VIN; VINs will be searchable at NHTSA.gov starting April 16, 2026. FCA's recall reference number is 35D.
